We are an Australian accounting firm looking for an experienced self-starting transactional accountant (or bookkeeper) to join our team (initially on a part-time basis with a view to full time in the future.
The person we are looking for is:
– Experienced in Xero (hopefully Xero certified);
– Experienced in Australian GST (12+ months);
– Organised and can work remotely without supervision;
– A problem solver, looking for solutions to challenges, not giving up and the first sign of a challenge;
– Looking to work more independently while progressing their career.
We are looking for someone to be part of our team, not just someone to reconcile some transactions.

You will be:
– Using Dext to push expenses throught to client’s Xero subscriptions;
– Reconciling transactions in client’s Xero subscriptions;
– Entering payroll information for clients (weekly, fortnightly, monthly as required by the clients);
– Preparing activity statements for clients (including monthly Instalment Activity Statements and quarterly Business Activity Statements).
– Other ad-hoc transactional accounting tasks as required.
