Process mail, maintain files, operate a PC and/or typewriter, process appeals, maintain filing systems, operate a fax machine, copier, calculator and a variety of other office machines, types and creates reports and spreadsheets, and performs timekeeping duties.
Work hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, based on operational need. You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time after the successful completion of the required probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Altoona. Qualifications: * You must have successfully examined and have a current score on file. If you have not already done so, you must first apply to the CLERK TYPISTS 1 & 2 (EXAM) posting and follow the directions provided. * You must meet the PA residency requirement.
