Base Miami supports, thanks to its network of mentors and founders’ experience in the field, Latin American and Caribbean (“LAC”) startups and mid-size companies business expansion and internationalization in Miami, Florida through acceleration programs worked 1:1 (“Market Fit”) with companies or within a group of them, in what we like to call Bootcamps, mostly supported by Governmental organizations such as ProChile, CORFO, or ProColombia, NGOs as ASELA and/or VCs from Latam and Caribbean region with companies, within their portfolio, interested in achieving the softest landing possible in South Florida.
At some point during the last weeks of the mentioned acceleration programs, the participating companies (LAC Startups), enters in various business validation meetings with Ideal Client Profiles, Partners, Industry Experts, Market-entry mentors, Investors, and/or any thought leader, ideally, from Miami’s, Florida Ecosystem.
A business validation meeting is a 1:1 (the expert and the startup + Base Miami’s team) conversation of 60 minutes length in which the startup pitches the business model worked and adapted/asks the “Top 10 Questions”, during the acceleration program, with the sole objective of receiving feedback from the invited expert. The minimum amount of meetings is subject to the type of program and will be disclosed to the Outreach Analyst in charge of the outreach process once the terms are agreed. For example, “Market Fit” Program includes a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 business validation meetings.
At any point, these meetings are commercial meetings or should be presented as prospects to the participant startup neither the expert.
Basically, the Outreach Analyst or Lead Generator would need to contact these experts and schedule the meetings. We are open to doing research on yours methodology, but we are happy to share ours with you (LinkedIn).
