Document Processor Responsibilities
– Receiving and processing incoming documents received via mail, fax, and email in .doc,
.pdf, and .png/.jpeg formats.
– Editing and attaching all documents received to client accounts in PDF format with
templated file names and formats
– Staying up to date with the standards and requirements for each type of document
received and determining whether it will be acceptable by the loan servicers
– Following mapped out procedures on how to properly add documents to accounts
– Ensuring all income-related documents are edited correctly and the calculations for the
client’s adjusted gross income is accurately indicated
– Updating our CRM (Salesforce) will all information received from clients in notes and
field formats
– Managing emails that require document processing and also client questions to ensure
they get assigned to the correct department
Document Processor Requirements
– High school diploma or GED
– Qualification in data entry, document processing, secretarial work, or related training
– Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
– Proficiency in computer software, such as Adobe, Microsoft Word, Paint, and Salesforce
CRM
– Extensive experience in organizing, filing, archiving, and managing documents
– Excellent organizational and communication skills
– Self-starter attitude and ability to work efficiently from home with minimal supervision
– Love repetition and having the same task on a daily basis
A Day in The Life
– Filter out emails and faxes received to proper inboxes that are not for Document
Processing
– Check case view in Salesforce to close out any cases where all documents have been
received
– Work Underwriting Inboxes in Front (our email management platform) from oldest to
newest and be able to pivot to anything that needs immediate attention
– Ensure all inboxes stay equally “behind” by focusing on each inbox separately
– Availability to assist teammates on specific accounts, documents, situations, and
questions pertaining to underwriting
– Work approximately 50-70 client accounts daily
