Its a part-time gig, with work from home opportunity and flexible timings, requiring 1-2 hours daily. The roles and responsibilities will include the following :
1. Undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like drafting and posting JDs, screening profiles, scheduling and conducting preliminary interviews, onboarding employees, organizing training, administering employee benefits and leaves, and crafting HR policies
2. Use human resources information systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential
3. Act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics over emails and telephones
4. Ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole

– Onboarding new employees
– Managing job posting, recruitment
– Vetting potential staff
– Generate new employee contracts
– Manage payroll portal (Gusto)
– Organize annual reviews
– Consult on hiring, firing, employee communications
– Essentially, being a remote HR department for our small SF Bay Area based educational firm
