E-Commerce Assistant Part-Time

E-Commerce fashion company is immediately hiring a part-time product and content management assistant. The position is remote work only, from the comfort and safety of your own home office. Flexible hours can be structured by you at your own convenience. It is a part-time position with an approximate minimum of 20 hours a week, but would be a long-term hire for the duration of the contract.

The E-Commerce Assistant will work directly with the COO to assist managing the backbone of our stores: creating and editing products, collections and digital content. Great research skills are necessary to assist in sourcing new products online. The Assistant must possess high levels of attention to details, accuracy, and the capability to work quickly for task turnaround in a fast paced environment. Basic photo editing skills are required to adjust product image sizes and perform minor touch ups. The tasks include hours of data entry, which will require discipline to execute free of errors. Responsibilities include inventory management and experience with interpreting spreadsheets. Assistant will be contacting vendors directly to request inventory updates. Excellent communication skills are necessary for professional and concise exchange of information. Candidates must have very good English skills to write product descriptions elegantly, without spelling or grammatical corrections. Candidate needs to have literacy in fashion terminology and garment description terms. Previous experience must include administrative management of large amounts of data and images. The ideal candidate is trustworthy, honors company confidentiality, is dedicated to completing projects on time, and will be contracted for a long term position.

Although not required, there is growth potential (and more hours) for someone who has any of the following: social-media marketing experience, graphic skills to design creative content for site pages, administrative assistant experience to help CEO and sales team with daily operational tasks, various technical platform fluency to assist COO with operational management.
